Ancorar Flat Resort

“We strongly recommend avoiding Ancorar Flat Resort Flat 5319

Unfortunately, our experience with Flat 5319 was extremely negative and far below what was announced in the reservation.

The flat was virtually uninhabitable, with clear signs of abandonment, lack of maintenance and poor cleanliness. The photos in the advertisement do not correspond to the reality found.

Main problems:
• Widespread dirt in all environments
• Unusable sofa, extremely dirty, seeming never washed
• Walls and staircase caracol in bad condition, with old painting and degraded appearance
• Serious accessibility problem: very narrow and dangerous caracol staircase for access to the upper floor (room), without any prior notice in the ad
• Stove with only one mouth working, besides dirty and encarded
• Microwave and TV in bad condition (dust and apparent defects)
• Bathroom and rooms equally poorly kept

We did not pay little for the stay, and the feeling was of total disrespect on the part of the owner.

What made the situation even more frustrating is that our friends rented, in the same period and at the same resort, the Flat 5315, with the same characteristics, but clean, preserved, with normal stairs and in perfect condition — which makes it clear that the problem is not the Ancorar itself, but rather the poor management of the Flat 5319.

Why are we staying in the flat?
1. The stay was already fully paid
2. We were with friends staying in Flat 5315
3. Previous experiences have shown that Booking does not offer effective support in critical situations, which would only generate more stress and risk of getting out of accommodation

About Ancorar Flat Resort

In addition to the flat, the resort has excessive and poorly conducted rules, with huge signs and constant approach to security, creating an uncomfortable environment for guests.

Example:
• Swimming pool closed at 21:00, with lights being turned off and guests being “retracted”, even without any confusion
• Excessive ban on consumption near the pool
• Confusing approaches to safety, even in normal situations

This type of attitude may even make sense for permanent residents, but it is completely incompatible with a place that presents itself as a tourist resort.

Conclusion

Our negative rating of Ancorar Flat Resort was directly influenced by the extremely bad experience on Flat 5319 and the inappropriate conduct of the condominium rules.

We do not recommend Flat 5319.
If anyone is still considering staying at Ancorar:
• Require updated videos and photos from the flat
• Prefer more conserved units, such as the Flat 5315
• Prefer flats near the adult pool

Unfortunately, it was a frustrating and disappointing experience.

Remember that it is not a hotel or resort, and yes, a flat, that is, depends much on the owner.
Mine was pretty simple, and it wasn't cosy, quite the opposite, a little dirty, ants, little spider web, anyway.

The place itself is very good.

pool barzino meets the demand, however, I believe that in high season, customers should suffer.
