Algarve Praia Hotel

Good location, but structure leaves much to be desired

We stayed two nights in this hostel, with the intention of making only one quick pass through Fortaleza. The location is very good, close to the main sights, but the street did not pass us sense of safety. The environment is quite deteriorated and we do not recommend walking at night.

Inside the guest house, we were initially accommodated in a very different room from the advertised photos: no window and with mold accumulated on the wall. We requested the exchange and went to a slightly better room, more spacious, with larger bathroom and window, which improved the experience. Not enough to prevent an allergic attack on my husband.

It's a pity to see the hotel so deteriorated, because the location has a lot of potential and a little more care and renovation would be enough to completely transform the guest's experience.

Another negative point was the internet, which only worked sporadically and inefficiently. In return, the breakfast was very well served and quite tasty. The staff were also kind when we needed.

Bad experience.

Precarious hotel, does not match the Instagram photos. Shower with cold water, night reception which was the time I arrived unprepared for the guests.
Breakfast leaves much to be desired. Bad experience.
It needs a new administration and good maintenance.
